'The Patch'

The Patch is a rural, 1/4 acre garden situated in the lower Wye Valley, halfway between Chepstow and Monmouth.  The garden provides far reaching views across the valley from various points in the garden.

 

Over the last 7 years, a variety of borders have been carved out of what was once a big lawn surrounding the house.  The borders, which are separated by meandering grass paths, have been designed and planted to provide year round interest and feature a collection of rhododendrons, 60+ repeat flowering roses, hydrangeas, strategically placed grasses and perennials.
